The Union County Coroner’s office wanted an emblem they could use on “stationery, doors, ID badges, shirts, brochure (and website).” I had little else to go on when starting this project, except for a couple of Ohio government seals they wanted to emulate. The direction I took it, with the 7-point badge, seemed a good one. They approved it, saying, “[it] appears more official to the public.”
