The Darryl Locator

In a nutshell, Darryl was the Help Desk & Technical Support guy, and in such demand that he was frequently away from his desk helping someone within CTMH’s massive 2-building complex. IT department personnel fielded the question “Where’s Darryl?” from people popping in so often that I made this locator. Darryl could now set a destination before leaving his desk, and anyone stopping by could, at a glance, easily see where he’d gone.

Truth be told, this was something I did on my own iniative, with my own resources. I used an old clock for the final assembly.

I think Darryl got a real kick out of this thing—when he left the company for a new opportunity, he took it with him.
